Chupacabra Challenge Winner

M Wow, what a great morning of riding. Tommy, MM, 29er Jeff (formerly Lefty Jeff) and I hit the trail head at 6:45am. It was warm and humid, but we all made it in one piece. Cramps were abundant...I ran out of water at Modjeska Peak - thanks Jeff and Tommy for keeping me hydrated the rest of the way.



MM won the Chupacabra Challenge...Congratulations, Mike!!! Here he is with his prize...a Chupacabras MTB logo jersey.

The view was much better today than the last time we were at the summit. Here's a view of MV on the way down from Santiago Peak.



We're hoping to get more of the gang up there next time.

Chupacabra Challenge

For those of you who are unsure of start time for tomorrow's ride, please contact me. Start time will depend on the number of confirmed riders. Right now we're set for a 6am start at the Maple Springs trail head. That could get pushed to 6:30am if we don't have any additional takers.

Thursday Chupacabra Chase

We had a great Thursday night ride with the fellas tonight - The Mikes, Lonnie and Julian. It was great to see Kim again - it's been a while. Nice of Lefty Jeff to join us...Ride it like you stole it. Lots of wildlife out there tonight. Mike V Claims to have seen a beaver...but there were no chupacabras to be found.
